Sette Società Agricola Semplice

Gino Della Porta and Gian Luca Colombo founded Sette to break the mold in Nizza Monferrato. Their organic and biodynamic Barbera wines from the Nizza DOCG are bold, layered, and expressive. Both Barbera d’Asti DOCG and Nizza DOCG are highlights, offering savory, textured wines that balance tradition with experimentation. Their amphora-aged Grignolino and dry, skin-contacted Moscato are playful, energetic wines that defy expectations.

Farming Note

Farming is organic across all wines, focusing on the clay-limestone and calcareous soils of Monferrato and Nizza. Yields are kept low to ensure concentration, clarity, and freshness in the fruit. Each vineyard—whether single-parcel or multi-varietal—is farmed with a minimal-intervention mindset that emphasizes soil health and lets the terroir express itself.

Winemaking Note

Winemaking is minimalist and transparent, relying on native or spontaneous fermentation and aging primarily in neutral oak or stainless steel. Whites are direct-pressed and aged on lees. Reds may undergo extended maceration to build structure. All wines are unfined, unfiltered, and minimally handled—crafted to highlight varietal character and preserve natural energy without manipulation.
