Madonna delle Grazie
In Vulture, the heart of Aglianico country, the Laforcaia family farms at high altitude on volcanic soils, working organically to craft wines of structure and depth. Cool nights and a long growing season preserve acidity and build power. Fermentations are wild, aging is slow, and the wines are unapologetically dense, complex, and built to last.
Farming Note
Certified organic. No irrigation, no shortcuts. Everything is done by hand with deep attention to biodiversity and vineyard life. Vines are high-elevation and low-yielding, grown on volcanic slopes overlooking Mount Vulture.
Winemaking
Destemmed, native yeast fermentation in concrete. Aged for two years in large neutral Slavonian oak casks, then settled in bottle before release. No new wood, no excess extraction—just patient, steady winemaking that respects the structure of Aglianico and the honesty of the site.
