Domaine La Roubine
La Roubine is a small, family-run estate in Gigondas, led by Eric Ughetto and his wife Sophie. They farm just over 20 hectares across Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Sablet, working with traditional Rhône varieties and a deep respect for place. Everything is farmed organically and harvested by hand. These are soulful, honest wines—old-school structure with modern clarity and lift.
Farming Note
Farming is organic and hands-on—no synthetic chemicals or herbicides. Soils are worked by hand and machine, with a deep commitment to biodiversity and soil health.
Winemaking
All fruit is harvested by hand, mostly destemmed, and fermented with native yeasts in concrete or stainless steel. Long macerations, gentle extractions, and aging in old foudres and neutral barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
