Jean-Louis Dutraive

Jean-Louis Dutraive farms old vines at the historic Domaine de la Grand’Cour, where his family has worked since the 1960s. He’s a quiet force in Fleurie, leading with intuition and respect for nature. Farming is certified organic and winemaking is instinctive—native ferments, no additions, and aging in used wood. His wines are expressive and pure, built on elegance, not extraction. Fleurie through and through—light on its feet, but deeply rooted.

Farming Note

Certified organic since 2009. No herbicides, no pesticides. Farming is done entirely by hand—old vines, deep roots, and real commitment to the land.

Winemaking Note

Native yeast fermentations, mostly whole cluster. No fining, no filtration. Aging in neutral barrels. Everything is done slowly and gently, by feel. Built on purity and patience.
