Fliederhof
Fliederhof is nestled into the foothills of Bolzano, where alpine breezes meet Mediterranean sun. The region’s diurnal shifts and volcanic-granite soils create a unique environment for indigenous varieties like Lagrein and Schiava. Farming is sustainable and rooted in biodiversity, while gentle cellar work allows the wines to express their freshness and precision.
The wines are bright, clean, and expressive—deeply connected to Alto Adige’s dramatic mountain landscape.
Farming Note
Fliederhof farms organically and sustainably in the steep, terraced vineyards of Südtirol. The sandy, gravel-rich soils—formed from decomposed porphyry and limestone-dolomite—anchor the vines with excellent drainage and mineral tension. Farming emphasizes soil health, vine balance, and biodiversity, producing fruit that reflects both natural purity and the estate’s alpine setting.
Winemaking
All grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with precision. Most wines are vinified in stainless steel to preserve freshness and clarity, while select cuvées undergo gentle maceration and age in large neutral oak. The approach is minimal, yet intentional—focused on transparency, balance, and energy.
