Domaine Christophe et Fils

Domaine Christophe et Fils is a small estate working some of the top sites in Chablis, rooted in Kimmeridgian limestone and shaped by the small cru winds that define the region. Based in the village of Fyé, Sébastien Christophe farms a collection of vineyards that punch far above their classification—including Premier and Grand Cru sites where he gives humble parcels the same attention as prized holdings.

Farming is done with deep respect for the land—no shortcuts, no unnecessary intervention. The vines are kept in balance, yielding fruit that carries the signature Chablis cut: mineral-driven, clean, and built to last. In the cellar, Sébastien lets things unfold at their pace—fermentations are spontaneous, élevage is patient, and the wines find their shape without manipulation.

Farming Note

Christophe’s vineyards span Village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru sites in Chablis, all rooted in classic Kimmeridgian limestone. Farming follows a minimal intervention philosophy—prioritizing biodiversity, soil vitality, and vine balance. Each site is tended with care to highlight its unique energy, complexity, and mineral tension.

Winemaking

All wines are fermented with native yeasts and aged in a thoughtful mix of stainless steel and neutral oak, depending on the cuvée. The aim is to preserve precision, freshness, and minerality without adding weight—allowing each site’s texture and structure to emerge. The process is precise and restrained, always in service of terroir.
