Domaine Vallée Moray

Hervé Grenier is the mastermind behind Domaine Vallée Moray, a relatively new estate in Montlouis-sur-Loire. His Chenin Blancs are intensely mineral, vibrant, and texturally rich, thanks to his hands-off approach and old vines. His reds, like Arcadienne, are playful blends of Pinot Noir and Gamay, full of energy and character. Hervé’s wines are pure expressions of the Loire Valley’s potential, balancing elegance and complexity with ease.

Vin de France, Rouge, 'Cot Libris'

Vintage 2015

Region Loire

Varieties Malbec

ABV 12.50%

Soils Extremely Calcareous Soils

Winemaking Whole-cluster fermentation, native yeasts, and aging in neutral oak. Left unfined and unfiltered for a raw, honest expression.

Tasting Note Blackberries, dark plums, and a hint of graphite. Firm tannins and a savory edge give it structure, while the finish stays clean and long.
